The first guests arrived in 1898. At the Hotel – Pension were 30 rooms, a restaurant, billiards and a horsecoach parking. The hotel had many famous guests from the world of politics and culture: Kazimierz Przerwa-Tetmajer, Helena Modrzejewska, Witkacy and the musican and storyteller from Zakopane: Jan Krzeptowski – Sabała

At the seventies the building became a member of the list of goral architecture heritages. In 1996 it was completely renewed with saving the original internal design and ornaments. The depository of this history and the 100 years old tradition are the „Sabała” hotel’s owner”s trumps.
